"Insight Auctioneers Buyers Agreement"

IAS Family Inc dba Insight Auctioneers is not responsible for accidents on-site.

No children under age 16 allowed on-site and all others enter at own risk.

All merchandise sold by Insight Auctioneers will be sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" without warranty expressed or implied.

All merchandise "MUST" be paid for on the day of sale.  "NO" merchandise may be removed until paid in full.

All payment must be made by cash, certified check, or a "GOOD", personal or company check.  Personal or company checks over $2,500 for first time buyers will be held until the Monday following the auction for replacement with cash, wire, or certified bank check.   If personal or company check has not been replaced by the Monday following the auction it will be deposited, and a hold will be placed on removal of merchandise pending cleared funds.   The "ONLY" exception will be contingent upon prior approval from John Martz, Barbara Martz or Shawn Martz, before the day of the sale.

Purchasers agree to remove all merchandise within 3 business days of the sale unless other arrangements have been made with Insight Auctioneers.

The Auctioneer may provide a set removal date for large equipment.  All buyers that have not removed merchandise within 1 week of auction date will be billed a storage fee of $10.00 per day.  After 30 days, unless arrangements have been made, ownership of the merchandise become the property of Insight Auctioneers.

No loading on Sunday, or after dark.  Loading and unloading of equipment is a courtesy of Insight Auctioneers.  This service doesn't hold Insight Auctioneers or any Insight employee liable for injury, or damage to merchandise, in the loading, hauling or unloading of merchandise.

Once an Auctioneer accepts a high bid, the high bidder is bound to a sales contract for the item sold and the risk of loss is passed on to the buyer.  The buyer accepts full responsibility for the merchandise once the auctioneer says, "SOLD".   Insight Auctioneers is not responsible for theft.

Purchaser of any titled vehicles agrees to pay all processing fees as posted.  Titles to merchandise do not pass from seller to buyer until paid in full, and all checks, drafts, etc. have cleared.  All titles take a minimum of two weeks to process.  .

Buyer premium terms are posted and announced prior to all auctions.  (Usually 10%)

All buyers must pay required state sales tax unless they have provided Insight Auctioneers with a current Sales Tax Exempt Certificate.

All items for consignment must to be consigned no later than 4:00 p.m. on the Thursday immediately before the auction.

No Consignments will be taken under $100 value. Consignors' will pay a registration fee of $10.00 per item. If item is not sold there will be a $50.00 buy back fee per item. Consignors' will be charged a 4% commission on all items sold.

All equipment for consignment is to be free and clear of any liens or encumbrances.

All items that require a title - The title needs to accompany the item when it is consigned.

All motorized equipment consigned needs to be running, with fuel and batteries otherwise, Insight Auctioneers reserves the right to supply the necessary items to upgrade the equipment or, Insight Auctioneers reserves the right to sell the item as "Salvage". If we supply or install any items there will be a back charge to the consignor.

Consignors' agree to remove all merchandise that is not sold within 5 business days of the sale unless other arrangements have been made with Insight Auctioneers, by calling ahead to make an appointment for available pickup times.  The Auctioneer may provide a set removal date for large equipment.  Equipment that has not been removed within 30 day's will be consigned into the next auction and will be sold absolute.

All items consigned are to be run through the auction.   If you are caught selling otherwise your transaction will be subject to the regular fees charged, and you may be barred from future auctions.

In the event that we do not receive payment for your consigned item it will remain yours, we will notify you, and you will need to pick it up.
